Splitting from its ancestor, the gildea grows along the coasts of Mason Polar Sea. Where its central spore producing organ used to be, it has developed a trio of leaf-like projections for photosynthesis, at the base of which the spore producer has been reduced to. Possessing proto-roots, they are protected by its "shell". They have formed a thick carpet throughout the coasts, providing food for other organisms.
