[[Hitchhiker Nitroid]][[category:Descendant of Hitchhiker Nitroid|Mason Nitroid]] |
The hitchhiker nitroid replaced its ancestor, the hitchhiker nitroid, in all masonian biomes, though they still thrive on Sagan 4. Their cellular protrusions that form a cube-shape structure have grown, allowing it to absorb even more nitrogen from the air than its ancestor. It now obtains all of its carbon from CO2 in the atmosphere, to free up surface area for nitrogen absorbtion. Other than that, it resembles its ancestor, budding off from the central structure. It has been so successful, it has replaced the salidistroid in shared biomes.
